Logic Test Prep Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled in the Logic Test Prep iOS app and on its support website at https://logicprep-support-hub.lovable.app.
Logic Test Prep is an independent practice app for logical reasoning and visual pattern recognition. It does not require or offer a user account.
The data controller is Fredrik von Sydow, Sweden. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to Fvonsydows@gmail.com.
1. Summary
- Practice data and settings are stored locally on the user's device and are not uploaded to the developer.
- The free version uses Google AdMob to display advertising. Premium removes advertising.
- Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple.
- Contacting support or reporting a question is optional. No email is sent until the user chooses to send it.
- The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the IDFA for cross-app tracking.
2. Information stored locally on the device
The app stores the following information on the user's device so that its features work:
- practice settings, including drill length, time limits and adaptive difficulty;
- generated questions, answer choices and submitted answers;
- progress statistics, drill and assessment history, bookmarks and saved mistakes;
- diagnostic and difficulty information used to recommend practice;
- the free-question allowance; and
- a local record of Premium access, which is checked against the App Store when purchase information is available.
This information is not sent to the developer and is not used by the developer to build an advertising profile. There is no developer-operated cloud account, cloud sync or remote practice-history database. Because the developer does not possess this local practice data, the developer cannot retrieve, correct or export it on a user's behalf.
“Clear All Progress” removes statistics, drill history, bookmarks and saved mistakes. It does not reset the free-question allowance and does not cancel or remove an App Store purchase. Uninstalling the app removes its local data, subject to normal iOS, iCloud and device-backup behaviour. Premium can be restored with the Apple Account that made or shares the purchase.
3. Advertising and consent choices
The free version displays Google AdMob banner advertisements on the Home, Practice, Progress and Settings screens. An interstitial advertisement may be shown only after a completed practice set or timed assessment. Ads are not shown while a user is answering questions. Premium users are not shown ads.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information including:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address;
- device, app or developer-bounded identifiers;
- advertisements shown and interactions with advertisements;
- product interactions such as app launches or taps; and
- crash logs, performance information and other diagnostics.
Google and participating advertising providers may use this information for ad delivery, frequency limits, fraud prevention, security, measurement, analytics and improving their services. The exact processing depends on the user's region, device settings, consent choices and the providers involved in an ad request.
This version requests non-personalized ads. It does not request permission under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and does not request the IDFA for tracking activity across other companies' apps or websites. Non-personalized or limited ads still require some technical data for delivery, security, fraud prevention, frequency limits and aggregated reporting.
Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform displays consent choices before advertising is requested. Available choices can be reviewed or changed later through “Advertising privacy choices” in the app's Settings screen. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. If consent does not permit personalized advertising, the app continues to request non-personalized or limited ads where Google allows advertising to be served.
More information is available in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising information.
4. Premium purchases
Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Apple processes the payment, purchase history, restoration, refunds and any Family Sharing. Logic Test Prep receives the product identifier and transaction or entitlement status needed to unlock and restore Premium. The developer does not receive payment-card or bank-account details.
Apple handles this information under Apple's Privacy Policy. Purchase and refund requests are also subject to the applicable App Store terms.
5. Support and question reports
Contacting support is optional. “Report this question” prepares an email that may contain a reproducible question code, content fingerprint, category, difficulty, selected and correct option identifiers, and app version/build. The user can review, edit or cancel the email. Nothing is sent unless the user sends it through their email app.
If a user contacts support, the developer receives the sender's email address, message contents and any information or attachments the user chooses to include. This information is used only to answer the request, investigate faults, improve question quality, prevent abuse and keep a necessary record of the support conversation. The developer's email provider may process the message to deliver and store it.
Support messages are normally deleted within 12 months after the matter is resolved. A message may be kept longer if reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, comply with law, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Support website
The support website is hosted using Lovable and its infrastructure providers. When a person visits the site, those providers may process the IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security or request logs needed to deliver, protect and maintain the website.
Logic Test Prep does not intentionally use a separate visitor account, advertising cookie, marketing pixel, session recording tool or optional third-party analytics service on the support website. The site uses local or system fonts rather than loading fonts from Google Fonts. If these website practices change, this policy will be updated and any consent required by law will be requested before the changed processing begins.
The website contains links to external services. Those services handle data under their own privacy notices when a visitor follows a link.
7. Service providers and recipients
Depending on how the app and website are used, personal data may be processed by:
- Apple, including the App Store and TestFlight, for app distribution, purchases, restoration and optional diagnostics;
- Google and advertising providers participating through AdMob, for advertising and related measurement, security and diagnostics;
- Lovable and its infrastructure providers, for website hosting, delivery and security; and
- the developer's email provider, when a user sends a support message.
The developer does not sell local practice history or support-message contents to data brokers.
8. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, the legal bases are:
- performance of a contract or steps requested by the user, for providing app functionality, Premium access, purchase restoration and requested support;
- consent, where consent is required for advertising storage or processing;
- legitimate interests, for responding to support, improving question quality, maintaining security, preventing fraud or abuse and operating the support website, provided those interests are not overridden by the user's rights; and
- compliance with legal obligations, where records or disclosures must be kept by law.
Google, Apple, Lovable and other independent providers may determine their own legal bases for processing under their respective privacy notices.
9. Retention
- Local app data remains on the device until it is cleared, overwritten or the app is uninstalled, subject to device backups.
- Support messages are normally deleted within 12 months after resolution, subject to the exceptions described above.
- Logic Test Prep does not maintain a separate database of website visitors. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the operational and security requirements of the hosting providers. Any logs directly accessible to the developer are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.
- Apple and Google retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.
10. International processing
Apple, Google, Lovable and their providers may process information outside Sweden, the European Union or the European Economic Area. Where required, the relevant provider is responsible for using a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by applicable law.
11. Privacy rights
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have rights to:
- request access to personal data held by the developer;
- request correction or deletion;
- request restriction of, or object to, certain processing;
- receive data in a portable form where applicable;
- withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal; and
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
Requests can be sent to Fvonsydows@gmail.com. The developer may need to verify the requester's identity before acting on a request. Most practice data is held only on the device and can be managed in the app or by uninstalling it.
People in Sweden may contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se. People elsewhere in the EEA may contact their local supervisory authority.
The developer does not use personal data to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on users.
12. Children
Logic Test Prep is intended for people aged 13 or older and is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information can contact the developer to request deletion.
13. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used for information the developer controls. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Local app data is also protected by the security of the user's device, Apple Account and backups.
14. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, website, legal requirements or service providers change. The effective date will be revised. Material changes will be communicated where required, and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before changed data practices are distributed.
